This is an interesting week for sport on an international level.
The World Cup is winding down, and the Open Championship is taking place. Should England emerge victorious on Wednesday afternoon then that will make for a stressful weekend for the likes of Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, and others. Simply put… soccer and golf are center stage right now.
PGA Tour FC has really captured that fun magic with a unique campaign inspired by the PGA Tour and thei membership’s passion for soccer. The Tour and Talisman teamed up for some collectible stickers that were inspired by popular World Cup sticker books, and there is an awesome hat with an incredible PGA Tour crest.
This is a really cool and unique way to look at the close of the World Cup through the close of the major championship season in the world of golf. As noted there are plenty of Tour members who have allegiances, whether still active or since eliminated from the World Cup, and this kind of symmetry always works.
