Central Cee’s Burgundy Nike Air Force 1 to Release in Only One Country

Central Cee took in the Los Angeles Lakers game courtside over the weekend while wearing his second collaborative Nike sneaker — and fans won’t have to wait long to purchase, provided they’re in the right country.

The Central Cee x Nike Air Force 1 Low Dark Beetroot will release this week exclusively in the U.K. Coming by way of the British rapper’s brand Syna World, the sneaker is rendered entirely in two nominally different shades burgundy. Patent leather overlays arrive in Dark Beetroot, while the standard leather base and sole unit are glossless in “Red Oxide.”

Syna World’s logo is debossed onto the lateral heel in gold, which matches the tongue branding, lace dubrae and metal lace tips. “Nike Air” takes its usual place on the right mustache in the same color, but the right features the number 13, which denotes Central Cee’s age when he recorded his first song.

The AF1 Low marks Central Cee’s third Nike sneaker to release to the public, following an Air Max 95 that dropped in October another patent leather Air Force 1 Low in grayscale from February. A third version of the classic hoops sneaker with the high-gloss material is also expected to release this year in a black, blue and yellow color scheme.

Having been extremely popular in the 2000s, patent leather Air Force 1 Lows are now making a major comeback. Lil Yachty dropped a colorful collaborative iteration last spring, and Nike has followed up with several in-line versions, including a trio in equally bright colors that released last week.

The Central Cee x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Dark Beetroot” will release Friday on the Snkrs app in the U.K. Pricing is set at $183.
