Zendaya Adds Dreamy Glitter Finish to Custom Louboutin So Kates

Zendaya decorated yet another spider-themed ensemble with some sparkling Christian Louboutin heels. The star has been promoting “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” alongside her partner, Tom Holland, and she has continued to lean into method dressing for the press tour.

The actress attended the film’s Rome premiere at Ponte Sant’Angelo on Tuesday in Italy and floated down the blue carpet in a pair of towering pointed-toe heels. She slipped her feet into a pair of Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps that were custom-made for her for the event, as confirmed to FN by the brand.

The shoes feature an upper that’s fully decorated with shiny, strass details in a silver and gray color palette. The heels are designed with a low-cut vamp, a steep five-inch heel and the brand’s signature red sole.

While it was initially reported that she wore the designer’s Pigalle Burma Strass Pumps, Zendaya is known to favor the So Kates, which feature a similar overall design. The So Kate and Pigalle are both signature pumps from the French luxury footwear designer, but they differ significantly in design and wearability.

The So Kate features a much steeper arch, measuring around 120mm, an ultra-slim heel, and a longer, pointier toe box that shows less toe cleavage. The Pigalle, however, has a softer pitch, a thicker heel, a slightly rounder toe, and comes in multiple heel heights, including 85mm, 100mm and 120mm.

She paired the pumps with an archival Giorgio Armani spring 1990 Spiderweb Gown to go in line with the superhero movie. The dress featured a sheer spiderweb design throughout in a blend of beige and black shades. The hemline of the gown landed right about her ankles, allowing for the shoes to fully shine as she posed for photos during the photo call.

Holland complemented her look wearing a Louis Vuitton custom burgundy single-breasted jacket with matching trousers, a pink cotton poplin shirt and a burgundy silk tie. He wore round-toe dress shoes that were made from a glossy brown leather.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be released in theaters on July 31. The superhero flick is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal and more. The story picks up four years after the events of “No Way Home,” as Peter Parker, played by Holland, voluntarily lives a completely isolated life in New York, having erased himself from the memories of all his loved ones, including MJ, played by Zendaya.
