Tyla Is Bejeweled in London With Christian Louboutin Sandals

Tyla added jewels to her simplistic London look on Thursday with a pair of Christian Louboutin sandals.

The South African artist, whose sophomore album “APOP*” is set for release on July 24, attended the launch party for the album in London wearing a minimalist urban look. She went maximalist, however, with her footwear, opting for Christian Louboutin’s Rosalie Jewel sandal. Crafted from silver laminated calf leather, the sandal’s curvaceous PVC strap design is embellished with hand-set crystals of various sizes. A flash of color comes from the luxury brand’s signature red sole, while a 100mm stiletto heel elevates the style. From Christian Louboutin, the Rosalie Jewel sandal retails for $1,545.

Tyla offered a lesson in styling statement footwear, as her crystal-adorned heels went with an otherwise pared-back ensemble. She modeled a dark wash denim skirt with a hem past her knees and a simple white bralette — a showcase of cool-girl minimalism. She used the same pair of shoes to make a contrasting look at the BET Awards in February, pairing them with a long black scoopneck dress and a statement choker.

Tyla has a penchant for picking out statement footwear. Her shoe looks have also included Valentino Rockstud heels, D’accori’s strappy Belle platforms and gladiator styles. She’s also embraced, however, more classic silhouettes like a black Christian Louboutin So Kate pump.
