Someone Stole Madonna’s Coachella Outfits

Two days after performing alongside Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella, Madonna is calling for the safe return of the archival outfits she wore onstage.

“I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing- my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “These aren’t just clothes, they are a part of my history.” You can read her full statement below.

Carpenter invited Madonna out for her Weekend Two headlining performance, where the duo sang “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” along with an unreleased Madonna track, likely from the pop star’s upcoming album, Confessions on a Dance Floor II, her first full-length since 2019’s Madame X. Madonna’s last appearance at Coachella was in 2015, when she made out with Drake during his own headlining set. Before that, she performed in the Sahara tent in 2006 to promote that year’s Confessions on a Dance Floor.

Confessions II drops June 3. You can hear its first single, “I Feel So Free,” here.

Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible. Bringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill! This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing- my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments. These aren’t just clothes, they are a part of my history. Other archival items from the same era went missing as well. I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul, will find these items and reach out to my team at: [email protected]. I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all My Heart
