Adidas is coming off a big summer of sports, having served as the official jersey provider for more than a dozen top World Cup soccer teams, including newly-crowned FIFA champs Spain, and defending champions and 2026 runners-up Argentina. Timothee Chalamet, meantime, was spotted wearing an Adidas top while delivering the official game ball for the World Cup final match.

Adidas footwear also took a giant step forward at the London Marathon, where men’s winner Sabastian Sawe broke the sub-2-hour marathon barrier for the first time, while wearing the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3. Even longtime competitor Nike had no choice but to acknowledge the feat, congratulating Adidas in a social media post that admitted that, “the clock has been reset” (the record-breaking sneakers, by the way, are now going for up to $1,000 on resale sites online).

Now, Adidas is getting ready to turn its attention to fall, but not before slashing prices on some of its top footwear, clothing and accessories online. The Adidas Back to School Sale is happening now and discounts items by up to 50 percent off — no promo code necessary. A huge inventory of sneakers is included as part of the sale, with up to 40 percent off styles for men, women and kids.

Adidas Back to School Deals

While most retailers use back to school sales to close out previous season merchandise, Adidas’ sale includes core pieces from its collection, offering rare markdowns on sneakers like the Adidas Gazelles, OG Sambas, Ultraboost and more. And just like Adidas topped Nike at the marathon, their Back to School Sale also beats Nike’s current promotion online, which has similar items on sale but topping out at 25 percent off for The Swoosh.

Here’s a look at what’s worth buying from the Adidas Back to School Sale, with 12 of our top picks highlighted below. You can shop all the deals now at Adidas.com.

RARE MARKDOWN

Gazelle Indoor Shoes

Aside from the Sambas, few Adidas silhouettes are as well-known as the Gazelles and the low-top lace-ups are on sale for 40% off.

We like this retro-tinged metallic “scarlet” and grey colorway but you can choose from more than six other colors on sale online.

RUNNER’S CHOICE

Adizero Evo SL

Adidas has sold more than 10 million pairs of its Adizero Evo SL running shoe, and the men’s and women’s sneaker now gets a rare discount online during the company’s Back to School Sale.

Originally designed as a road running shoe, the Evo SL has been praised for its versatility, offering a lightweight, comfortable and dependable shoe for all different types of workouts, no matter how you like to get your sweat in.

Whether you’re eyeing your first pair of Ultraboost sneakers or picking up a fresh pair for fall, there’s no better time to add to cart than now.

Adidas has multiple colorways and sizes of its bestselling sneaker on sale, with the same lightweight knit upper, super comfortable cushioning and distinctive silhouette that has made the Ultraboost a training and streetwear go-to for years.

The stark and minimalist Purchill Runner keeps you light on your feet, while standing out from the pack.

The cushy EVA midsole keeps things comfortable, while breathable materials and the open construction help to keep your feet dry.

PATENT LEATHER KICKS

Adidas Superstar II Shoes

Originally designed as a basketball shoe more than 50 years ago, the Adidas Superstar remains an enduring style staple decades later.

This deal gets you a pair of Superstar II sneakers with a shiny patent-leather upper, the serrated 3-Stripes logo on the sides, and a textured rubber toe. Other colorways are on sale as well from 10 to 40-percent off.

It’s not just footwear that’s marked down for Adidas’ Back to School Sale — the brand’s website also has backpacks, crossbody bags and tote bags on sale.

This mini tote bag gives off vintage vibes with the Adidas trefoil logo on one side and three white stripes running down the other. Made of a perforated vegan leather, the bag is available in red, white or black.

Simple and practical, the unisex backpack is made from a durable material with adjustable straps. It has a built-in laptop sleeve, two outer water bottle pockets and enough room for your gym clothes, headphones and other essentials for school or your daily commute. As with all Adidas bags, this one is covered by a lifetime warranty.

NOSTALGIC PICK

USA World Cup 94 Graphic Sweatshirt

The World Cup may be over but you can relive the glory days of the tournament with this USA sweatshirt, inspired by the colorways and styling of the U.S. team kit in 1994.

The nostalgic look and feel of this French terry sweatshirt takes it from game-day merch to something you can wear beyond the stadium. It’s available in unisex sizing with a slightly oversized fit.

Adidas

OFFICIAL MERCH

Argentina EQT Track Top

You can also find current-year World Cup jerseys marked down now that the 2026 FIFA tournament is over.

We like this Argentina zip-up track jacket with bold block styling in the team’s blue and white colorway and the Argentine Football Association crest on the chest.

Note: Adidas also has official Spain World Cup champions merch available online though it is not part of the sale. You can shop the Spain FIFA T-shirts and jerseys here.

Adidas

STYLE ICON

SST Track Top

The Adidas track jacket has been a style staple for decades and it gets a rare discount right now as part of the brand’s Back to School Sale.

This deal gets you the SST Track Top in navy with white stripes. The tailored fit, retro-inspired styling and bomber neckline detailing elevates this track jacket into a stylish lifestyle piece.

You can shop more from Adidas’s 2026 Back to School Sale online at Adidas.com. Pieces are selling through quickly so we recommend checking out of your cart while your preferred sizes and styles are still available.
