Adidas is coming off a big summer of sports, having served as the official jersey provider for more than a dozen top World Cup soccer teams, including newly-crowned FIFA champs Spain, and defending champions and 2026 runners-up Argentina. Timothee Chalamet, meantime, was spotted wearing an Adidas top while delivering the official game ball for the World Cup final match.
Adidas footwear also took a giant step forward at the London Marathon, where men’s winner Sabastian Sawe broke the sub-2-hour marathon barrier for the first time, while wearing the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3. Even longtime competitor Nike had no choice but to acknowledge the feat, congratulating Adidas in a social media post that admitted that, “the clock has been reset” (the record-breaking sneakers, by the way, are now going for up to $1,000 on resale sites online).
Now, Adidas is getting ready to turn its attention to fall, but not before slashing prices on some of its top footwear, clothing and accessories online. The Adidas Back to School Sale is happening now and discounts items by up to 50 percent off — no promo code necessary. A huge inventory of sneakers is included as part of the sale, with up to 40 percent off styles for men, women and kids.
While most retailers use back to school sales to close out previous season merchandise, Adidas’ sale includes core pieces from its collection, offering rare markdowns on sneakers like the Adidas Gazelles, OG Sambas, Ultraboost and more. And just like Adidas topped Nike at the marathon, their Back to School Sale also beats Nike’s current promotion online, which has similar items on sale but topping out at 25 percent off for The Swoosh.
Here’s a look at what’s worth buying from the Adidas Back to School Sale, with 12 of our top picks highlighted below. You can shop all the deals now at Adidas.com.

The cushy EVA midsole keeps things comfortable, while breathable materials and the open construction help to keep your feet dry.
This deal gets you a pair of Superstar II sneakers with a shiny patent-leather upper, the serrated 3-Stripes logo on the sides, and a textured rubber toe. Other colorways are on sale as well from 10 to 40-percent off.

Simple and practical, the unisex backpack is made from a durable material with adjustable straps. It has a built-in laptop sleeve, two outer water bottle pockets and enough room for your gym clothes, headphones and other essentials for school or your daily commute. As with all Adidas bags, this one is covered by a lifetime warranty.
The nostalgic look and feel of this French terry sweatshirt takes it from game-day merch to something you can wear beyond the stadium. It’s available in unisex sizing with a slightly oversized fit.
We like this Argentina zip-up track jacket with bold block styling in the team’s blue and white colorway and the Argentine Football Association crest on the chest.
Note: Adidas also has official Spain World Cup champions merch available online though it is not part of the sale. You can shop the Spain FIFA T-shirts and jerseys here.
This deal gets you the SST Track Top in navy with white stripes. The tailored fit, retro-inspired styling and bomber neckline detailing elevates this track jacket into a stylish lifestyle piece.
