“The King of Staten Island” went for a sporty look to attend game three of the finals, completing his outfit with a Crocs Classic Clog in sport mode which was customized with artwork by Madi Kennedy (sales associate, personalization), an in-house SoHo customization artist at the Crocs store at 543 Broadway in New York City. The clean white backdrop was awash in orange and blue with plenty of details nodding to the team and the city in represents, like “GO NY GO NY GO” written on one shoe. Davidson completed the festive footwear look with Knicks Jibbitz.

Kennedy shared how the design for Davidson came to be. “As for process, the entire time I was drawing I was also scrolling TikTok and other social media sites watching videos of people celebrating the Knicks games in the streets and around MSG! I really wanted to capture the enthusiasm and excitement of the fans and the community that has blossomed from it — especially in a time where it feels like everyone is against each other and there’s rarely anything positive in the news. Additionally getting inspiration from graffiti and other urban art found around the whole city.”
The materials Kennedy used were Angelus Leather Preparer, Spot Corrector and Posca markers: “Since I knew I wanted a lot going on the shoe’s design and wanted to keep the materials pretty simple.”

The rest of Davidson’s outfit included orange socks, blue pants underneath orange Knicks shorts, and a Wu Wear sleeveless top.

Davidson was revealed as a Crocs ambassador earlier this year and starred in a campaign featuring the Classic Clog.
“I’ve worn Crocs forever. They’re just comfortable and all I really wanna do is be comfortable as I get older. And Crocs go with everything,” Davidson told FN in an interview. “I like it when I get to work with brands that I actually use, that way it doesn’t feel gross, you know? It was just a really easy fit.”
His ambassadorship with the brand was also celebrated at a dinner in New York City in April, where FN was able to catch up with him again.
Davidson is part of a group of other celebrity Knicks fans with custom shoes nodding to their team, including Timothée Chalamet with his Timberland x Chrome Hearts boots and Ben Stiller, with his Air Jordan 1s customized by fashion designer and artist Dana Juliana. Game four of the finals, in which the Knicks face off against the San Antonio Spurs, is scheduled for Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
