CLOSE TO HOME: Sir Paul Smith is doubling down on his British roots with the launch of Made in British Isles, a capsule collection that spotlights British manufacturing and long-standing supplier relationships.
The first drop is set to launch on Friday and focuses on the brand’s core categories that include outerwear, knitwear, shirting, jersey and socks. Women’s offerings and additional product expansions will come later this year.

Every piece in the capsule, as its name states, is made in the British Isles in collaboration with specialist factories across the country. Outerwear is manufactured by White Label London in Leyton and cut from fabrics woven at Baltic Works in Dundee by Halley Stevensons. Key styles include a hooded jacket in a dry wax fabric and a cotton mac in a herringbone cotton, both lined in deadstock shirting.
Knitwear comes from Corah Textiles in Nottinghamshire, not far from the brand’s original store, with the offering spanning a merino-striped crew neck, a chunky fisherman’s knit, and a contrast-knit polo, all made from responsibly sourced wool and cotton.

Socks are produced by Corgi Hosiery in Carmarthenshire, a Royal Warrant holder that has been manufacturing in South Wales since 1892. Still family-run, Corgi continues to hand-frame and hand-finish every pair using natural yarns.
The launch is accompanied by a campaign featuring editorial storytelling and an illustrated map highlighting each participating factory.
