Under the styling of longtime collaborator Tara Swennen, Stewart’s 2025 Cannes Film Festival red carpet looks featured this suited Chanel ensemble. The look consisted of a sleek white jacket and coordinated shorts. “The Chronology of Water” filmmaker opted to go sans shirt beneath her jacket, putting front and center her little Chanel tie. Stewart wore white socks and black peep toe heels with an ankle buckle to complete the look.

Continuing her partnership with the French luxury fashion house, Stewart wore a Chanel Couture look at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. The ensemble featured juxtaposition captured between the bodice of the look and the skirt. While Stewart’s long-sleeve, high-neckline, jewel-encrusted cropped top featured a multicolor design, the actress’ high-waisted skirt featured white fabric draping and a large bow at the front with an ethereal bent.
“I’ve been allowed to excavate my own story within Chanel’s continuous stories,” Stewart told WWD at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, referencing her ongoing relationship with the French luxury fashion house.

For the 2018 edition of the Cannes Film Festival, for which she served as a member of the competition jury, Stewart wore a gown from Chanel’s spring 2013 haute couture collection. Though the color palette included soft, gilded tones of gold and sparks of shimmer, the ensemble still included Stewart’s signature edge with a slit up the front of the skirt and constructed sleeves.

In 2014, Stewart opted for Chanel coords at the 2014 edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The actress, who officially joined the French luxury fashion house as an ambassador and campaign star in December 2013, wore a sleeveless top with coordinated pants. Both pieces featured allover shimmering elements, which Stewart paired with pointed toe nude pumps.

At the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Stewart wore a red gown courtesy of Reem Acra. The dress was designed with a plunging neckline and included lace detailing at the back. The actress went minimal with her accessories, keeping the vibrant crimson dress the focal point of her attire.
