Kerry Washington‘s Erdem dress gave florals a touch of dark glamour at Apple TV’s “Imperfect Women” FYC event on Friday in Culver City, Calif.
The “Scandal” alum turned to the British luxury fashion label’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection for her attire. The look consisted of a strapless black dress in a glossy, leathery fabric, crafted with a cinched waist and flowing skirt with subtle pleating incorporated at an asymmetric angle.

The black fabric of the dress was softened with white florals and stems embroidered throughout, creating a textural bent for the overall look. Washington’s Erdem dress also featured a coordinated choker in the same dark fabric and contrasting floral motif.
As for finishing touches, Washington wore a pair of black pointed-toe heels and an Ana Khouri cuff earring to add a touch of sparkle to her look. Washington regularly collaborates with styling duo Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi.

Erdem’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection debut coincided with creative director and founder Erdem Moralıoğlu’s 20th anniversary as an independent designer, curating a “mashup” of inspirations.
“What would happen if all of these women spoke to each other, the kind of dialogue between Maria Callas and Radclyffe Hall, or Duke Ellington and Marianne North?” Moralıoğlu’s said backstage, per Miles Socha’s WWD review of the collection. “I liked the idea that it was, for lack of better words, this kind of mashup and dialogue between all of these muses.”

“Some of the dresses were truly dreamy, including a narrow yellow column beaded and bejeweled to the max, and a creamy lace crinoline dress that grazed the knees of the audience,” Socha wrote of the highlights from the collection. “Moralıoğlu also offered an array of mannish blazers and handsome, roomy coats, some slipping off shoulders and clutched closed.”
