VICTORY DAYS: Kenzo has deep roots in the Place des Victoires, one of the most picturesque squares in Paris due to its round shape, punctuated by an equestrian monument in honor of King Louis XIV.
In tandem with its invitation-only spring 2027 presentation at the location during men’s fashion week in Paris, the LVMH-owned house is inviting the public to enjoy a retail pop-up, florist, café and Konbini-inspired market that will operate from June 22 to 28.
The brand has been teasing the takeover on its social media channels. It comes roughly 50 years after founder Kenzo Takada opened his headquarters and a boutique at 3 Place des Victoires, which quickly became a happening place — long before “retail experiences” became a thing.
Among its lore is a rollicking opening party; theatrical window displays that included a giant cowboy cutout and a life-sized elephant sculpture, and a blowout 1981 show, for which Kenzo tented over the entire square.

The new pop-up, showcasing the fall 2026 collection by Nigo, Kenzo’s creative director since 2021, is inspired by the founder’s Paris apartment and features original furniture, including Takada’s desk, in the window displays.
Straddling the 1st and 2nd arrondissements of the French capital, the Place des Victoires was first built in the 17th century, where six different streets converge — echoing how the founding designer melded French, Japanese and other inspirations in his fashions.
The pop-up florist at No. 8 Place des Victoires is in partnership with Debeaulieu, while the Kenzo Café
at No. 10, imagined by event producer We Are Ona, will serve up matcha, usucha, hōjicha, specialty coffee, mochi and kakigori desserts.
Meanwhile, the Kenzo Market
 at No. 12
will offer snacks in playful Kenzo packaging, magazines curated by Nigo and a T-shirt bar.
