Katy Perry Takes Crystal Mesh Pumps From Met Gala to After Party

Katy Perry carried her Stella McCartney shoe story from the 2026 Met Gala red carpet into the after party circuit on Monday night.

The singer attended Saint Laurent’s Met Gala after party at People’s Bar in New York in the same Stella McCartney spring 2026 pumps she wore earlier at the museum, changing from a custom gown and mask combination into the designer’s pale pink runway mini.

Perry’s pumps came in a white mesh slingback construction, with a rounded, square toe, slim white heel and a narrow strap behind the ankle. Dense crystal embellishment covered the front and sides of the shoe, forming rows of spiked, bead-like texture over the sheer upper. The mesh left the foot partly visible, while the white trim around the opening gave the pair a cleaner edge against the more tactile crystal surface.

The shoe belongs to a more dimensional side of the current crystal-heel conversation. Rather than using stones as a single strap detail or a fine pavé finish, Stella McCartney’s spring 2026 pair pushed the embellishment outward from the mesh, giving the pump a thorny, almost frosted texture. On Perry, the same shoe read differently after dark than it did on the Met steps, where the pump only appeared in glimpses beneath her custom gown.

For the after party, Perry wore the pumps with a pale pink minidress from Stella McCartney’s spring 2026 runway. The dress had a close long-sleeve bodice, a high round neckline and a short hem edged in soft, faux shearling-like texture.

Earlier that day, Perry wore the same pair of pumps with a custom Stella McCartney look and a reflective mask that alluded to the fake AI images of the singer that went viral during the 2024 Met Gala and circulated again around the 2025 carpet, both years she skipped the event.
