Kanye West Settles With Former Assistant in Sexual Battery Lawsuit

Note: This article contains descriptions of alleged sexual assault.

Kanye West has settled a 2024 lawsuit he faced from Lauren Pisciotta, his former personal and executive assistant, TMZ reports and court records confirm. Arick Fudali, Pisciotta’s lawyer, told Pitchfork that “the matter has been resolved.” Terms of the unconditional settlement are undisclosed.

Pisciotta had accused West of drugging, sexually assaulting, and sexually harassing her during a tenure, between 2021 and 2023, that also included her roles as an A&R and chief of staff for West and his companies. She initially sued him for sexual harassment, alleging sexual misconduct that included masturbating in front of her in a locked room of a private jet. She later expanded the lawsuit to include the drugging and assault allegations, in a complaint alleging he repeatedly “touched, groped, fondled, grabbed, and forced himself in and on” Pisciotta, without her consent, including once at a party co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.
