Grouper has announced six rare shows in North America. In September, the ambient musician will travel to Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C., as well as Montreal and Toronto. The performances will mainly take place in concert halls, theaters, and churches. It’s not clear if the tour will be in support of new work, but judging from the setlist of her 2024 performances, concertgoers can likely expect a career-spanning show that includes songs from her 2021 album, Shade.
Last year, Grouper released a 20th anniversary reissue of her debut album, Way Their Crept.
