Eva Longoria went for a bridal-inspired look with white satin sandals to attend the “Histoires de la nuit” (The Birthday Party) screening during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festival on Friday in Cannes, France.

Longoria attended the event with L’Oréal Paris, for which she is an ambassador, wearing René Caovilla’s‘ towering Anastasia 150mm satin sandals with a Tamara Ralph couture gown.
The René Caovilla Anastasia sandals are an open toe silhouette with a satin finish decorated with crystal embellishments throughout. The sandal features a squared-toe design and a thick toe strap that curved inward toward the center of the foot. The sandals are designed with a branded leather insole, a lofty 40mm platform sole and a towering 150mm high stiletto heel.

The sandals are finished with a glittered leather sole, a gold-tone logo plaque at the sole, silver-toned hardware and a slim buckle-fastening ankle strap. The white satin iteration of the sandal is available on fashion resale sites starting at around $1,465.
She paired the heels with a Tamara Ralph Haute Couture dress for the event. The actress and producer was a vision in a white silk double satin gown featuring a mother-of-pearl and crystal fan bodice. The dress is adorned with mother of pearl diamond shards, pearls and crystal xillions. Longoria isn’t the only one to favor the sky-high silhouette at Cannes, eiter; social media star Daria Kononovich wore the jeweled, metallic silver version of the Anastasia sandals to the amfAR Gala Cannes 2026 on Thursday.

The dress featured a long, floor-length skirt that completely obscured the heels. The “Desperate Housewives” alum managed to pull up the skirt as she walked out of the Hotel Martinez on her way to the movie screening, allowing the heels to peek through the bottom.
The Hollywood producer has been soaring on the Cannes red carpets thanks to towering heels. Her go-to pair has been the Flor De Maria Berta Platform Sandal in black satin, which she wore with a Sophie Couture dress in red to the Amfar Gala Cannes on Thursday. She wore the same heels with a Sergio Hudson spring 2026 dress at Cannes earlier in the week.

The 2026 Cannes Film Festival kicked off on May 12 and concludes on Saturday. The 79th edition of the festival will include films like “Fatherland,” starring Oscar-nominated actress Sandra Hüller, “Full Phil,” starring Kristen Stewart and filmmaker James Gray’s “Paper Tiger.” Demi Moore, Ruth Negga and filmmaker Park Chan-wook serve on the 2026 Cannes Film Festival jury.
