Dua Lipa saved her most traditional bridal silhouette for round two, though traditional takes on an entirely different meaning when Chanel haute couture is involved.
After marrying British actor Callum Turner in a Schiaparelli skirt suit at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31, Lipa and Turner shared official photographs on Saturday from their second wedding ceremony in Sicily, where the “Levitating” singer wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture wedding gown designed by Matthieu Blazy, marking his first couture bridal look for a friend of the house.

Lipa chose a long, close-fitting silhouette with bare shoulders, a high jeweled neckline and a skirt cut narrowly through the hips before widening below the knee. The halter style left most of her back exposed, draping crystal and pearl-like embroidery across her shoulder blades, waist and hips. The house kept the white surface densely beaded and concentrated the softness at the lower skirt, where wispy feathers turned the otherwise clean column into a textural, trumpet shape.
According to Chanel’s Instagram, the gown featured 480,000 hand-embroidered beads by Atelier Montex, trompe l’oeil jewel embroidery by Lesage that required 1,155 hours of work, and a two-meter train delicately underlined with 25,000 feathers by Lemarié.

Lipa paired the gown with a six-meter tulle veil hand-embroidered with beads and feathers and finished with hand-cut organza appliqués, securing it beneath a feathered headpiece. She wore her long dark hair slicked back behind her shoulders, highlighting the custom couture wedding gown’s open construction. Turner stood beside her in a black tuxedo with satin lapels, a pleated white shirt, black bow tie and dark red boutonniere.
In Sicily, Lipa moved her bridal wardrobe in the opposite direction from her London civil ceremony. There, she chose custom Schiaparelli couture by Daniel Roseberry: a sharply tailored white blazer with a cinched waist and gold bijoux buttons, a midi skirt, a dramatic wide-brimmed Stephen Jones hat, white gloves, Christian Louboutin pumps and a Bulgari Serpenti necklace. The tailored proportions and wide brim recalled Bianca Jagger’s 1971 wedding style, while still emphasizing a distinctly modern take on bridal suiting.

For Sicily, Lipa kept the footwear relatively quiet in custom white satin pumps by Massaro. That restraint is not exactly her usual setting: her massive shoe closet runs from towering platforms and crystal-covered heels to the kind of boots that can carry an entire look.
