Doja Cat turned herself into a work of art in head to toe Saint Laurent to attend The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2026 Met Gala in New York City on Monday.

The “Agora Hills” rapper defied gravity with the designer’s highest heels, and joined Katy Perry, Charli XCX, Zoë Kravitz, Connor Storrie, and more on the red carpet ahead of the museum’s spring exhibition. The Grammy winner arrived in the Saint Laurent’s “Kika” platform mules.
The sandals are crafted from silicone in a beige tan shade, and are painted by a special effects artist (SFX) artist to match her skin. While speaking to La La Anthony on the red carpet, Doja said she was aiming for a fully monochrome ensemble that matched her skin tone, ensuring that even her hair matched her look.

The stiletto heels measure 4.33 inches or 110 mm, and are balanced by a towering and lofty platform, which measures around 2.5 inches. The tall mules are held in place by a wide toe strap that goes over the vamp creating an open, peep toe-like design.
They are a slip on design and retail for around $1,300 in all black patent leather. Hailey Bieber wore the Kika platform by Saint Laurent in black patent leather to 2025’s Met Gala with a mini blazer dress in black.

The “Say So” singer paired her platforms with a matching beige draped gown with a high thigh slit in chiffon silicone. The dress featured long sleeves and a draped neckline, while the slit allowed for a full view of the heels as she climbed up the museum’s steps. The YSL look was designed by Anthony Vaccarello, and the star was styled by Brett Alan Nelson.
Doja, who is part of the host committee this year, is making her fourth appearance at the fashion-forward event this year. She attended the 2025 Met Gala, which was the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, she stepped out onto the carpet in a custom Marc Jacobs leotard with the designer’s popular, and also towering, platform Kiki Boots.
The 2026 Met Gala took place on Monday, May 4, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year’s exhibition, “Costume Art,” celebrated fashion as an art form, with a dress code of “Fashion Is Art.” The event was co-chaired by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez-Bezos serving as honorary chairs. The annual benefit raises funds for the Met’s Costume Institute.
