Cleo is the latest tech company to update its solutions with more AI capabilities. The company, which offers supply chain orchestration solutions through its Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) platform, announced “a significant update” to its chargeback prevention solution for retail suppliers.
The new features and capabilities include AI-powered anomaly detection. This is where AI agents automatically analyze data patterns as a way to proactively surface risks and demand signals. This allows retail suppliers to act before any business damage is done.
Also new is “Dynamic Insights,” where conversational intelligence provides personalized information in real time. “Simply ask a question about your supply chain transactions and get an instant response—no delays, no manual analysis,” the company said in a statement, noting that the feature tackles the persistent challenge of delayed access to actionable data. Previously, retail suppliers had to depend on their IT team or analysts to generate reports or even investigate issues, which slows response times.
Also new is “3PL Order Intelligence,” which the company said extends its live order view into a retail supplier’s warehousing and 3PL fulfillment workflows when using outsourced fulfillment and multi-enterprise order management.
Mahesh Rajasekharan, president and chief executive officer of Cleo, said retail suppliers are under constant pressure “to move faster while maintaining compliance performance across increasingly complex fulfillment networks.”
“Cleo Integration Cloud helps companies identify operational risks earlier, gain actionable intelligence faster, and prevent costly chargebacks, fines and deductions before they happen,” the CEO said. “The result is not only improved margins but [also] growth of the top line through stronger customer relationships.”
Cleo emphasized how the new features closes gaps that persist in traditional order processes between different enterprises and systems as well as data and decisions and insights and action. The ultimate aim is to increase the confidence of retail suppliers while improving workflows.
“One of the biggest risks in supply chain operations is the anomaly no one sees,” Rajasekharan explained. “Volume fluctuations across hundreds of partner and document combinations often go unnoticed until they trigger downstream consequences such as missed shipment commitments, compliance penalties or delayed payments.”
Rajasekharan said Cleo addresses these pain points with AI-native anomaly detection that continuously analyzes activity. “The system identifies revenue-impacting deviations and surfaces risks immediately—before they escalate into business impact,” the CEO added.
“The goal of chargeback prevention has always been to move businesses from reactive deductions management to proactive, AI-native orchestration,” Rajasekharan said. “Anomaly detection, dynamic insights and extended 3PL support represent the next step in that journey, from purchase order to payment.”
It’s been an active time for Cleo, which has been hard at work improving its offerings to help retail suppliers. Last month, Oracle NetSuite partner Beyond Cloud Consulting teamed up with Cleo to help businesses streamline their supply chain operations. By pairing Beyond Cloud’s NetSuite expertise with Cleo’s automated integration tools, the partnership makes it easier for companies to connect their ERP system directly with suppliers, online stores and trade partners.
The collaboration aims to eliminate manual data entry, cut down on order errors and give businesses clearer real-time tracking over their shipping and inventory workflows.
