Bella Hadid continued her 2026 Cannes Film Festival style streak with a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture design she wore for the “La Bataille De Gaulle: L’Âge De Fer” red carpet premiere on Wednesday.

The longtime model wore an ivory gown completely crafted in trompe-l’œil lace embroidery made of cords and anchor threads with a dramatic plunging neckline and tiered mermaid train. A black jewel element with teardrop details featured at Hadid’s waist and provided tonal contrast to the ornate look. Black corset lace detailing was also included at the back of the dress.
Designed by the Italian luxury fashion house’s creative director Daniel Roseberry, the dress required 22,160 hours of embroidery work and the expertise of 130 artisans.

Hadid accessorized Roseberry’s intricate design with jewelry pieces from Chopard, for which she serves as an ambassador and campaign star. Her hair was coiffed by stylist Jacob Schwartz into a slick tight bun, with makeup by Nadia Tayeh. Stylist Mimi Cuttrell curated Hadid’s look.
Though she’s not walked the runway for the fashion house, Hadid has worn pieces from Schiaparelli in the past. In January 2026, the model wore a sultry red hot look from the avant-garde Italian fashion house’s fall 2025 couture collection at FX’s “The Beauty” premiere in New York City.

A regular to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet since 2016, Hadid’s 2026 appearance to the annual festival has seen the star in archival Elie Saab and a special look courtesy of Prada.
Prior to her return to the Cannes red carpet, Hadid was announced as Prada’s first global beauty ambassador in March.
