Awake NY Air Jordan 6 Playful Pink IQ5706-600 Release Date

Awake NY made its Air Jordan collaboration debut in 2025 with a duo of Air Jordan 5s, the more revered of which stood out in a bold “Arctic Pink.” A neat progression will see the New York City streetwear brand move onto the Air Jordan 6 this year, and the can’t-miss pink treatment is making a comeback.

The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 “Playful Pink” has surfaced for the first time, and it employs four different shades of pink across its upper. A light pink nubuck serves as the base of the shoe’s forefoot, with the same material appearing in an even lighter colorway for its overlays. The heel and collar panel then arrives in more of a highlighter pink, while a final shade somewhere in the middle of them all is used for the TPU window at midfoot bearing Awake’s “A” logo.

Just like on the blue colorway revealed by Awake in February, this colorway features a midsole with a black and red color arrangement identical to that of the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” but for the speckling on the red panels. Red is also used for the heel’s “Nike Air” logo, striping on the spoiler-like heel pull and other accents to connect it to the sneaker Michael Jordan wore while securing his first NBA title.

The first look at the pink Air Jordan 6s comes via influencer and designer Imran Potato, and chances are seeded pairs will continue to pop up via other notable sneakerheads.

Awake NY had previously collaborated on the Jordan Air Ship, the Nike shoe that preceded the Air Jordan, but its Air Jordan 5 capsule from last year rose to a much higher level of hype. Responses to the Air Jordan 6 duo indicate the momentum will continue with what should be one of 2026’s most anticipated collaborations.

The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 “Playful Pink” will reportedly release Aug. 29, with the most likely progression being through Awake’s channels and then the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
