Are Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz Ballet Flats’ Biggest Fans?

Congratulations would appear to be in order for Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz, who are reportedly engaged eight months after they were first linked as a couple. Kravitz has been seen out and about with a hefty diamond ring on her left hand.

The “Aperture” singer and “The Batman” actress are two of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry, each with their own multifaceted style they’ve cultivated through the years — his often being gender-fluid and boundary-pushing, with an eye for color, pattern and flamboyance, while hers has notes of punk edge, menswear, soft femininity and laid-back luxury. Their styles are unique yet complementary, especially when they’re out and about in their everyday casual-cool looks. And one thing is definitely in the center of their fashion Venn diagram: the allegedly betrothed stars both love to ground their varied looks with ballet flats.

Styles might be the biggest champion on the public stage for men wearing ballet flats. While he isn’t the only male celebrity to have embraced the dance-associated shoe in recent times, he’s shown noted dedication to the style that few could match. For example, while subtle, Styles had on a white pair from Goddard on the cover for his third solo album “Harry’s House,” which came out in 2022.

More recently, Styles has made several public appearances in ballet style shoes since his latest album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” was announced in January and then released in March. He had on mint green Dior mule ballet flats when he presented at the Grammys; a black cap-toe Chanel pair with a bow on the Brit Awards red carpet; and wore ballet flats during multiple moments throughout his “Saturday Night Live” double duty engagement.

Kravitz, meanwhile, loves a ballet flat herself. Like Styles, she’s repeatedly donned a classic bow-adorned black ballerina with a low, curved vamp. She’s devoted to the Dream Ballerina style from Mansur Gavriel, donning them for a variety of occasions, whether it’s an outing in the city or a photo call for a movie. She also appreciates other slim flat styles, including the Stella slipper from The Row, which features a relatively high, V-shaped vamp, seen on the actress below when she was out and about with Styles in New York City in March. Kravitz might pair her flats with a summery dress for an all-around feminine look, or a baseball T and flowy skirt, to name just two examples.
