Aligning with her lustrous Louis Vuitton dress, Hathaway’s satiny shoe look was minimalist yet bold, featuring a simple strap across the toes and a thin strap around the ankle. A towering block heel elevated the look, while the toe was rounded in front and elevated by a modest platform.

David Frankel returned to direct the long-awaited sequel to the 2006 film “The Devil Wears Prada,” an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger. “The Devil Wears Prada 2” finds Hathaway’s Andy Sachs working as a features editor at Runway magazine, returning about 20 years after she served as an assistant to demanding editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, played by Streep.

In addition to Hathaway and Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci reprise their roles as Emily Charlton and Nigel Kipling. Meanwhile, Molly Rogers is the costume designer for the film, taking the reins from Patricia Field, who worked on the first film. The sequel is set for release on May 1.
