Anne Hathaway brought a bit of sea inspiration courtesy of her Aquazzura footwear to “Late Night With Seth Meyers” on Monday as she continued promoting Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film “The Odyssey.”

Styled by Erin Walsh for the occasion, Hathaway had her custom GapStudio by Zac Posen dress paired with Aquazzura’s Sea Wave Wedge 105 sandal. The mule heel style features a transparent PVC hourglass strap across the toes and a sculptural wedge heel mimicking a cresting wave. The version worn by Hathaway doesn’t look to be currently available from Aquazzura, but the site offers a blue iteration with an aquatic design on the sole. Hathaway’s clear shoes were a complement to her off-white charmeuse dress featuring a tunic tank overlay.

Before Hathaway donned Aquazzura’s Sea Wave Wedge 105 for her late-night appearance, Katy Perry showcased the same style when she performed during the Parade of Nations before the U.S. played Paraguay at SoFi Stadium for the World Cup. The clear wedge trend has also been championed by Jennifer Lopez, who wore a pointed-toe style in Paris recently during couture week, and Riley Keough, who wore Alaïa’s Invisible Thong Sandals at the Cannes Film Festival. Last summer, Rita Ora showcased a spring 2025 ready-to-wear style from SportMax featuring a mesh upper and an icy plexiglass wedge.

Some of Hathaway’s other shoe highlights from “The Odyssey” press tour have included suede Gianvito Rossi over-the-knee boots worn at a photo call in London and the red hot Bellini Beauty Sandal 105 from Aquazzura. Promoting the film has given her the chance to show off her maternity style, as she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
