Kate Middleton Matches Wimbledon’s Colors for Jannik Sinner’s Win

Kate Middleton spent Saturday making herself easy to spot in crimson Roland Mouret. On Sunday, she went straight to Wimbledon’s own color card.

The Princess of Wales returned to the Royal Box in a bespoke olive version of Emilia Wickstead’s Tidus dress, with the All England Club’s purple-and-green committee bow pinned near her left shoulder. Wickstead worked the wool crepe into a wide round neckline and an asymmetric panel that crossed the bodice, gathered at the waist and fell over one arm like a short cape. Clean seaming through the waist gave way to a softly flared midi skirt.

Kate returned to Ralph Lauren’s Celia pumps in RL Gold calfskin. Despite the color name, the leather came across as caramel-brown rather than metallic, with a sharply pointed toe, low-cut sculpted topline and slim 100 mm heel. The pair has become one of her summer standbys: she also wore it for her July 2 Wimbledon appearance and a Buckingham Palace garden party in May.

The committee bow did most of the color work up top. Kate added Van Cleef & Arpels Magic Alhambra two-motif earrings and Halcyon Days’ aquamarine Maya Gold Torque bracelet, along with tortoiseshell Ralph Lauren sunglasses.

Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined her for the men’s final. Charlotte took the brighter end of the family palette in a blue dress with softly ruffled sleeves and white ballet flats, while George wore a navy suit and striped tie.

Kate watched Jannik Sinner defeat Alexander Zverev in the gentlemen’s singles final. As patron of the All England Club, a role she has held since 2016, she presented the trophies to both players.
