Cardi B Does Scary Motorcycle Stunt in Purple Boots at 2026 BET Awards

Cardi B communicates her vibrant and fearless personality through her style, and she makes that abundantly clear when she’s on stage. The rapper took the stage at the BET Awards 2026 held at Peacock Theater on Sunday in Los Angeles and pulled a tricky stunt wearing colorful thigh-high boots.

The hitmaker performed a high-energy medley of her songs from her sophomore album “Am I the Drama?” She kicked off the performance on top of a motorcycle, dancing on a pole while balancing on top of the vehicle. For the stunt, she relied on a pair of faux-leather boots featuring a chunky high heel. Although they added about four inches of height, they provided more support thanks to the block heel design.

The Grammy winner’s boots featured an over-the-knee design that slightly slouched around her thigh. They featured a vibrant purple color that matched her colorful ensemble, and the boots were completed with a sharp pointed toe.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who was styled by her longtime collaborator Kollin Carter, paired the purple boots with a brightly colored, patterned corset bodysuit featuring orange lace-up details at the hips, and she completed the look with fishnet stockings. She also debuted a fiery red hair look that she wore in loose waves, and added an even more vibrant touch to the ensemble.

Hosted by comedian and internet personality Druski, the 2026 BET Awards were held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night and honored the breakout Black creatives of the last year. The annual awards show celebrates writers, musicians, filmmakers, and more, honoring and uplifting Black culture. Singer Lauryn Hill was honored with The Living Legend Icon Award, while “One Battle After Another” Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor was the recipient of the Icon of the Year Award.
