Alicia Keys Wears Embossed, Striped Pointed-Toe Boots at Knicks Parade

Alicia Keys closed out the Knicks’ championship parade with a stiletto bootie sharp enough to match the occasion. Performing on Thursday at the team’s ticker-tape rally celebrating its first NBA title in 53 years, Keys wore a black leather ankle boot with an embossed upper, the surface broken up by fine vertical striping.

The pointed toe and slim stiletto heel gave the boot a clean, elongated line. The boots anchored a full leather look built for the moment: a cropped, glove-fitted moto jacket lettered “NEW YORK” across the chest and patched along the sleeves with championship-era references, worn over a black bodysuit and high-waisted leather trousers.

The pointed-toe stiletto bootie has had staying power this year, surfacing repeatedly as one of the silhouettes editors keep returning to for 2026, prized for the way its narrow toe lengthens the leg without tipping into anything fussy. Keys’ pair leaned into that with its textured, striped finish, a small departure from the smooth or patent versions that have dominated the trend, and a reminder that texture is doing a lot of the work in ankle boots right now, whether through embossing, woven detail, or high-shine leather.

Keys grew up in Hell’s Kitchen, blocks from Madison Square Garden, and has long described herself as a lifelong Knicks fan. She’s been a courtside fixture for over a decade, often alongside husband Swizz Beatz, and has cheered on the team courtside for years. At the parade, she performed “Empire State of Mind” and “New York State of Mind.” Other celebrities also attended the event, including Jordyn Woods, Timothée Chalamet and New York City’s first lady Rama Duwaji.
