One of North America’s biggest music festivals returns for two weekends in the heart of Austin. With nine stages spread across the massive Zilker Park, Austin City Limits is lassoing together the stars—Charli XCX, Lorde, Skrillex, Twenty One Pilots, the xx, Turnstile—with an extensive gaggle of established and smaller acts. When you can wander across a giant field and stumble upon Lykke Li, Amyl and the Sniffers, S.G. Form Arcosanti

Hundred Waters’ Arizona festival may have gotten the Form down to a science: no overlapping sets, an ambient-only cooldown stage, and only 2,500 attendees—which means good luck if you didn’t buy your ticket already. So there’s that and the matter of venturing an hour out into the desert outside Phoenix, but the trek is worth it for the immaculately curated bill topped by Blood Orange, Disclosure, Geese, Turnstile, and Lorde, who may for the first time be blessed with a crowd that actually stays quiet during “Writer in the Dark.” Arcosanti haze, we’re in a sandstorm and it knocks me out. —Walden Green
Pitchfork Festival Paris and London

Pitchfork is once again making its annual European festival run with concurrent dates in Paris and London. Headliners for the French edition include Iceage, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Headache, and Ear, with openers Mori, Tracey, and Dumbhead in tow. Meanwhile, the label DH2 is getting its own night at Badaboum Club. The P4K London lineup will be announced at a later date. —Alex Suskind
