The Princess of Wales wore the Lola jacket in a shade of cornflower blue by the London-based Canadian fashion designer, who celebrated 15 years of her eponymous label with a new book. The single-breasted jacket featured long sleeves, sharp lapels and flap pockets at the waist for a wholly business-style attire.
Along with the jacket, Middleton wore the Averill trousers in the same complementary shade of cornflower blue, featuring a high-waisted, wide-leg silhouette with exposed seams and pleating.

Beneath the jacket, Middleton wore a white shirt with a V-shaped neckline by Holland Cooper. As for finishing touches, Middleton added a pair of pointed toe pumps in a dark gold tone by American designer Ralph Lauren.
When it came to jewelry pieces, Middleton wore a pair of drop earrings by Annoushka Jewellery, a London-based boutique. She also wore Kiki McDonough yellow gold diamond hoop earrings, along with a vintage pearl chain necklace from Monica Vinader. Aspery pendants also featured as part of the Princess of Wales’ accessories.

Royal power suiting moments are a key pillar of Middleton’s wardrobe. The British royal family member has worn coordinated looks by Burberry and Roland Mouret in the past, the latter of which she wore for another recent engagement.
On May 6, Middleton opted for a sand-tone coordinated Roland Mouret suit while visiting East London University for the launch of “Foundations for Life: A Guide to Social and Emotional Development.”

Middleton’s trip to Northern Italy kicked off Wednesday as The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood expands internationally. As part of her trip, the Princess of Wales will explore leading approaches to early child development, with a focus on creativity, relationships and hands-on discovery. The trip marks the British royal’s first overseas visit since her cancer treatment.
