If you love classic comfort foods, then this week is for you! The baked mac and cheese is always a go-to at our house!
Classics like these meals are perfect for families! Sometimes, I even like to double the recipe and freeze the other portion to make an easy meal on nights when you need something quick!
Baked Macaroni and Cheese
This Baked Macaroni and Cheese comes together quick and easy. Homemade cheese sauce generously covers noodles and is baked to a rich, bubbly, golden brown perfection. When served with a hearty side of veggies, this indulgent dish becomes the perfect weeknight meal.
Thai Basil Beef
Thai basil beef is simple and delicious! It’s made with a homemade Thai sauce that has a bold and brilliant flavor and can be thrown together in less than 30 minutes. It is SOO GOOD!
Mushroom Bisque
Mushroom bisque is full of cream and garlic-infused mushrooms, all blended to make a thick, rich, and beyond flavorful soup! You will want to drink this straight from your bowl!
Green Chile Chicken
Green Chile Chicken is bound to become your family’s new favorite dinner! Tender, juicy chicken breasts are coated in a seasoned mix of green chiles, green enchilada sauce and shredded cheese. Baked until melty, flavorful and oh-so-delicious!
Brunswick Stew
Brunswick stew combines sizzling onions, garlic, BBQ sauce, and tender pulled pork all in one pot! Add a bit of cayenne for some zing and sweet corn and lima beans for texture. This combination of ingredients is so hearty and makes the best fall meal!
How Many Does it Feed?
This free weekly meal plan is just what you need to start your week. It provides five meals that will feed 4-6 (depending on whether you are feeding adults or kids), AND includes a shopping list! With fresh new ideas and easy-to-make recipes, having a weekly menu plan will be a lifesaver.
Why Should I Meal Plan?Â
If you haven’t tried planning your meals ahead of time, this will be a game-changer for you! Here’s why I swear by meal planning:
- Time Saver: No more 4:00 PM panic about dinner. With a menu plan, you know exactly what’s on the menu, what you need, and how long it takes to cook.
- Money Saver: Meal planning works wonders for your wallet. When you organize your weekly shopping list, you’ll easily spot opportunities to buy in bulk and creatively repurpose leftovers for future meals. It’s a clever approach that keeps more money in your pocket.
- Bye-Bye Takeout: When your dinners are planned ahead of time and groceries are stocked, you’re less likely to hit the drive-thru. Because you are cooking at home, it means more savings and healthier eating. Win-win!
Side Dishes for Dinner
My weekly meal plans always include a printable shopping list that is measured out and ready to go. It makes things so easy!
Storing Leftovers for Meal Planning
I only meal plan Monday-Friday because we sometimes have plans over the weekend, or I have leftovers that we can have to finish off the week! If you have leftovers, store them properly in an airtight container in your fridge.
