Zoe Saldaña is stepping into the spotlight again to promote her upcoming animated Pixar film, “Elio.” On Wednesday in New York City, the actress made two talk show appearances wearing the same pair of shoes with two different looks.

To pull the looks together, she popped on a pair of off-white Patrizia Pepe Astral slingback pumps. The pointed-toe pumps are made from chalk white calf leather and feature a buckle-fastening ankle strap, with loose-fitting side straps. The shoes featured a black sculpted back heel measuring 100mm. The Italian fashion brand was founded in 1993 by Patrizia Bambi.
Styled by Petra Flannery, Saldaña went for a red monochrome look as she headed to a taping of “Live With Kelly and Mark.” She wore a midi red taffeta skirt from Gia Studios‘ spring 2025 collection. The high-waisted skirt featured a slit at the bottom, which gave a glimpse at the piece’s white lining that matched the shoes. She paired the skirt with a red cardigan, which she tied asymmetrically over her shoulders. Underneath the sweater, she wore a red bodysuit in a slightly different shade of red.
For the second look, which she wore for an appearance on “Good Morning America,” Saldaña and her styling team went for a full The Row look from the pre-fall 2025 collection. She wore the Inawa top in cotton, which retails for $1,950. The piece featured another asymmetric detail that was layered on top of a gauzy cotton organza with a crew neckline, frayed hem detailing and concealed side zipper closure. The stitched drape exposed its contrasting white underlayer.

For her bottoms, she opted for The Row‘s Sharka Pant, made from cotton and cashmere, which retails for $1,320. The style are a mid-rise cargo pant in soft cotton and cashmere gabardine with straight leg, painter’s loop detail, and side slash pockets. It was a much more relaxed look than the Gia Studios ensemble, but The Row ensemble looked even more cohesive with the white Patrizia Pepe pumps.
It’s rare to see the star wear shoes that aren’t Saint Laurent or Christian Louboutin. During the promo tour for her 2024 movie “Emilia Perez,” for which she nabbed her first Oscar, Saldaña was spotted in a variety of designs from the two luxury footwear brands, which she often wore more than once.
The actress has been hard at work since last year. After a whirlwind awards season earlier this year, she is back making the press rounds for her upcoming animated film “Elio.”
The sci-fi movie follows a little boy named Elio, an underdog with an active imagination, who finds himself in the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. While there, he is mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe. He starts to form new bonds with eccentric aliens while discovering who he’s truly meant to be. The movie is set to hit theaters later this month.
