Zendaya brought “something blue” to “The Drama” press tour on Thursday at a special screening in New York with a Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry gown — but you might have missed the shoes that completed the look.

Zendaya’s longtime stylist and image architect Law Roach posted a photo on his Instagram story of Schiaparelli bird-inspired shoes, which matched Zendaya’s floor-length gradient feathery gown — the image followed a post on his story reading “Something Blue….” The heels and dress hail from the brand’s spring 2026 couture collection.
The pumps featured a pointed beak toe and surrounding feather embellishment featuring bright blue fading into black; the style even featured eyes to complete the bird look. Known for surrealist creations, this wouldn’t be Schiaparelli’s only animal-inspired footwear. Daniel Roseberry also presented quirky cat head heels in the fall 2026 show last month in addition to shoes with sculptural heels resembling bird claws.

The shoes were a perfect accompaniment to the strapless gown featuring a fitted bodice and dramatic flared skirt. The brand explained on social media that the dress is the result of 8,000 hours of work and 65,000 kingfisher blue and black raw silk “feathers” in satin stitch embroidery — with 27 hues of blue showcased. With a radial effect, the blue flashed across the bottom of the skirt and the middle of the bodice.

This Schiaparelli look was part of Zendaya’s method dressing approach — “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” — during the press tour for the movie “The Drama.” Her shoes during the press tour have ranged from her go-to brand Christian Louboutin — including her signature So Kate pumps plus the newer Miss Z — to Louis Vuitton pumps.
