Zach Top Wins Best Traditional Country Album for Ain’t in It for My Health at 2026 Grammys

Zach Top has won the inaugural award for Best Traditional Country Album at the 2026 Grammys for Ain’t in It for My Health. Top came out on top among fellow nominees Charley Crockett (Dollar a Day), Lukas Nelson (American Romance), Margo Price (Hard Headed Woman), and Willie Nelson (Oh What a Beautiful World).

This is Top’s first win of the night. A first-time nominee this year, he was also up for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for the Ain’t in It for My Health single “I Never Lie.”

Beyoncé took home the 2025 Best Country Album Grammy for Cowboy Carter. It was her first year being nominated in any of the awards’ country music categories. (Nearly a decade prior, the Grammys’ country music committee had rejected her submission of “Daddy Lessons,” from 2016’s Lemonade.) The Recording Academy subsequently announced that it was splitting up the Best Country Album category into two awards: Best Contemporary Country Album and Best Traditional Country Album.
