Why is Meal Planning Helpful?
Okay, I didn’t think meal planning was my thing until I finally tried it… and wow. I had no idea how much calmer it would make me feel. Like:
- No more dinner panic: I actually know what’s for dinner, so 5 p.m. feels way less chaotic.
- The kids can help: Since I have a plan, they know what to do and can jump in.
- I’m saving money: I’m not buying random stuff or running to the store five times a week.
- I feel more intentional: I’m teaching my kids and creating more peace at home, not just surviving the evenings.
It’s such a small shift, but it’s made a big difference. Just had to share this weekly meal plan insight in case you’re in the same boat I was.
These weekly meal plans are designed to be quick, easy, and affordable for families. Each recipe is crafted to simplify your weeknights, giving you more time with your loved ones!

Storing Leftovers for Meal Planning
I usually only meal plan Monday through Friday. Weekends are kind of a wildcard with plans or leftovers to finish off the week. And if you do have leftovers, just make sure to store them in an airtight container in the fridge so they stay fresh!
