Week 11 fantasy football rankings: Top 89 PPR running backs including injury news and sleepers

Week 10 of the NFL season is in the books. Now it is time to move on to Week 11. Or, we could take a quick look back at how our fantasy running backs did in Week 10? Ok, you twisted my arm.

First off, welcome back Christian McCaffrey! He didn’t put up a big fantasy day, but still managed to finish as RB10 in PPR scoring due to his strong usage and six receptions for 78 yards. Overall he touched the ball 20 times, which is great to see in his first game back.

Chuba Hubbard told everyone to take their Jonathon Brooks fantasy shares and keep those hidden away for the time being. Coming off a nice contract extension, Hubbard put up 169 total yards and a touchdown against the Giants in Germany.

Bijan Robinson is finally putting up the numbers we know he can. After not finishing higher than RB15 for the first five weeks, Robinson has now finished RB10 or better in his last five, including RB1 last week against the Saints.

Week 11 running back injuries

Tank Bigsby, Jaguars

Bigsby tweaked his ankle injury last week, which ended up giving Travis Etienne the bulk of the work. His status this week appears to be okay, as he played through the injury, but Mac Jones is not going to help the situation in Jacksonville. If Jones starts again, the Jaguars running backs are scary fantasy plays against the Lions.

Aaron Jones, Vikings

Jones took a big shot to the ribs last week and is hurting, but initial reports look good for his availability against the Titans. If he can’t go, Cam Akers and Ty Chandler would likely split work in his stead.

Jonathon Brooks, Panthers

Will this be the week? It sure seems like this will be the week Brooks makes his debut, but with how well Chuba Hubbard has played, I don’t expect Brooks to be a fantasy play out of the gate and possibly not for the rest of the season.

Brian Robinson, Commanders

Robinson has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury and we’ll just have to wait to see if he can be cleared to play this Thursday night against the Eagles. At this point his status looks iffy, but we’ll see if he can get a full practice in at some point. If not, Austin Ekeler would once again be the best start in fantasy from the Commanders backfield.

Week 11 running back sleepers

Nick Chubb, Browns vs. Saints

The Saints rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to running backs this season. They’ve given up 12 rushing touchdowns to running backs over their last eight games. They’re 31st in run defense EPA and 28th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. Javonte Williams, who was just demoted for not being good enough, put up over 100 total yards and two touchdowns against them in Week 7. There’s nothing positive to say about their offense at the moment either.

Nick Chubb couldn’t ask for a better matchup. He’s now played in three games and is coming off a bye. So far he hasn’t been efficient, but his last two games have come against two good run defenses in the Chargers and Ravens. This week he should have a much easier time putting up numbers.

David Montgomery, Lions vs. Jaguars

Montgomery has been a solid fantasy player all season, but he does lose work to Jahmyr Gibbs at times and his upside is often capped. This week the Lions are almost two touchdown favorites over the hapless Jaguars who will probably be without Trevor Lawrence, which sets up great for Montgomery to get a full clock-killing workload against a bad Jaguars run defense.
