Vans Pride 2025 Collection Empowers LGBTQ Wellness Through Surf Culture

Vans has joined forces with Queer Surf to celebrate and amplify LGBTQ+ voices in surf communities across the globe with a surf-inspired collection arriving just in time for Pride Month.

Designed by Queer Surf’s founder Kyla Langen, the collection features unique takes on three Vans sneaker favorites along with a full apparel selection. The apparel in the collection includes graphic tees, socks, caps, sweatshirts and more available on vans.com.

The collection blends retro surf style with nature-inspired patterns like ocean waves, sand and wildlife to express “freedom and subversion.” Prints include a coastal leopard, which is inspired by the leopard shark, a pelican graphic to symbolize community and safety, and a checkerboard based on Queer Surf’s logo explorations. In the logo, the triangle represents a wave, the rectangle nods to a surfboard, and the circle represents the sun—capturing the ocean’s rhythm and their inclusive mission: “All Bodies, All Boards.”

Vans’ Pride sneakers are designed to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community through vibrant, bold colors and unique designs, and messages to showcase self-expression. Some of the styles in the new collection include the Vans X Queer Surf Authentic Shoe, Vans X Queer Surf UltraRange 2.0 Shoe and the Vans X Queer Surf Knu Skool Shoe.

“From low-tops to high-tops, these shoes deliver everyday comfort and durability, whether you’re skating, exploring, or hanging out,” the Vans website reads. “Each pair represents Vans’ commitment to inclusivity and equality, letting you step out with pride all year long.”

Since 2016, Queer Surf, which is based in California, has fostered inclusive spaces that support queer wellness, expand access to nature, and grow surf culture through education and representation. By expanding access to nature and science while growing surf culture, they create inclusive spaces where diverse communities can thrive and connect with nature.

Vans has made a commitment to support the LGBTQ+ community by dropping collections each June for Pride Month.
