Proving that sheer dressing is here to stay, several celebrities brought the style to the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars party in Los Angeles on Sunday. Kendall Jenner, Julia Fox, Ciara, Olivia Wilde, Nikki Glaser, Leslie Bibb, Keke Palmer, Lizzo and Emily Ratajkowski were some of the guests who embraced transparency with their looks.

Jenner wore a black lace dress from Mugler’s archival to the event.

Keke Palmer

Palmer wore a Swarovski crystal mesh dress from Versace’s spring 2004 collection.

Lizzo wore a voluminous gown by Atelier Versace.

Fox wore a sheer minidress from Dilara Findikoglu featuring hair-like embellishments throughout.

Ciara wore a Cher-inspired dress from Dsquared2’s fall 2025 collection, which Amelia Gray Hamlin wore on the runway show.

Nikki Glaser

Glaser evoked lingerie inspiration in a sheer black dress by Valdrin Sahiti with lace details throughout. She was styled by creative fashion duo Dani + Emma.

Olivia Wilde

Styled by Karla Welch, Wilde wore a romantic sheer dress from Chloé’s spring 2025 collection, which was described as the “freedom collection.”

Leslie Bibb

Bibb, who is currently starring in HBO’s “The White Lotus” Season Three, wore a gold crystal mesh gown custom made by Fendi. It featured long sleeves and an open-back silhouette. Jeanann Williams styled Bibb.

Hannah Einbinder

Einbinder’s black and green dress was courtesy of Louis Vuitton. It featured a sheer panel with embellishments throughout. Jamie Mizrahi, who also works with Jennifer Lawrence, Adele and Riley Keough, styled Einbinder for the occasion.

Kaitlyn Dever

Dever’s dress featured layers of beaded fringe falling from her bodice and waist. The sheer look was from the Dolce & Gabbana spring 2025 collection.

The 31st annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party, one of Hollywood’s most prestigious post-Academy Awards events, took place on Sunday following the 97th Academy Awards ceremony.
