Nope, Iā€™m out. No more driving for me.

A driver in Pennsylvania was caught up in a crash that looked straight out of a horror movie last week when a truck carrying lumber overturned and threw its load across the road. The pile of lumber flew over I-83, sideswiping a car and forcing it off the highway in the process. A tractor-trailer loaded up with lumber overturned while travelling across an overpass above I-83 in central Pennsylvania, reports CBS News. The truck flipped over and threw the lumber down an embankment and onto the I-83 below where it hit a sedan driving on the northbound highway, as CBS reports:

The planks slide down an embankment before striking the passenger side of a sedan on the highway below, which veered off to the side.

The ramp from I-83 north to I-81 south was shut down for hours after the crash around 5 p.m., CBS 21 in Harrisburg said. The highway reopened around 10:30 p.m., the affiliate station reported.

Footage of the terrifying ordeal was captured by a dashcam in an Uber that was following the silver sedan. The driver, Derek Gooderham, said the scene was like an ā€œavalancheā€ in front of him, reports USA Today:

He told newswire service Storyful that in the split moment before his car was hit, he almost thought the boards looked like trees. ā€œBut after seeing it all unfold, it was an avalanche of 2x4s and 2x12s covering the highway,ā€ he told the service.

ā€œI hate saying things like this, but that was probably the scariest thing that I have seen so far in my life,ā€ Gooderham said. ā€œI hope thereā€™s nothing that tops that. It was pretty scary.ā€

Despite the car being hit from the side, forced off the road and over a bank, there were no injuries reported as a result of the horrifying crash. In fact, the highway was reopened and everyone got on with their lives just a few hours later.Ā
