The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a rollercoaster season to start 2025, and it’s not getting any easier in their Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Jags lost a key defensive starter early in the second half when Travon Walker was ejected for throwing a punch at a Raiders player.
Punching a guy in the head while he’s wearing a helmet? Not too smart.
The Jags took Walker over Aidan Hutchinson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft after a monster combine performance. It took Walker some time to develop, but he’s turned into one of the Jags’ better defensive players this season. Jacksonville badly needs a win after dropping their last two games. A loss to the Raiders could make Jacksonville 4-4 after a 4-1 start to the season.
Note to all the young football players reading this: don’t punch anyone in the head ever, and especially not when they’re wearing a helmet. Travon Walker’s ejection is the only proof you need.
