Two-way player Travis Hunter Jr. is headed to injured reserve, and the Jacksonville Jaguars rookie will miss at least the next four games.
Hunter was added to the injury report with a knee injury late Thursday after being listed as a full participant, and he was absent from the locker room after practice on Thursday, missing his weekly media session.
Speaking with the media on Friday, Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen stated that Hunter was headed to injured reserve, meaning he will be sidelined for at least the next four games.
Hunter has seen significant time on both sides of the ball this year for the Jaguars, at both wide receiver and cornerback. He logged 67 snaps on offense for Jacksonville back in Week 7, while playing another 14 snaps defensively. This season, Hunter has logged 324 offensive snaps, along with another 162 defensive snaps.
He has caught 28 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown, while breaking up three passes on the defensive side of the ball.
