Timothée Chalamet continued to channel Y2K fashion on the “A Complete Unknown” red carpet on Friday during the 2025 Berlin Film Festival. The actor, who plays Bob Dylan in the movie, attended the festival on Valentine’s Day in a pastel pink monochromatic look by Chrome Hearts featuring a ribbed tank top, a hoodie, baggy denim pants with matching underwear peaking through and Timberland boots.

Braving the European winter (temperatures were around 30 degrees Fahrenheit in Berlin during the premiere), Chalamet posed for pictures sans hoodie, showing off his tank top. He also accessorized the look with a diamond choker and a pink watch.

Pink became increasingly popular in menswear during the early 2000s. The trend was notably pushed forward by hip-hop artists and celebrities like Cam’ron, who famously wore a pink fur coat at New York Fashion Week in October 2002. Brands like Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and Sean John embraced the pink wave then.
Kylie Jenner, founder of Kylie Cosmetics and girlfriend of Chalamet, also attended the premiere. In videos shared by fans on social media, she is seen in a sequined black dress with a plunging neckline and matching shawl. Jenner and Chalamet have been together for nearly two years.
