Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red makes excellent choice into college football

The latest promotion from Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red clothing line does not feature golf at all but college football.

Stanford Quarterbacks Ashton Daniels and Justin Lamson highlighted the new advertisement.

It makes sense that Woods’ brand would approach Stanford first because that is where he went to school.

Daniels and Lamson modeled the new “Training Gear” featured on Sun Day Red’s website.

There were no details about the two quarterbacks’ NIL deal in terms of numbers, but still, what a great way to show that these clothes are not just for golfers.

This company is a lifestyle brand, so it should be for anyone willing to buy it.

Woods’ clothing is more expensive. Training crewneck sweaters are $200, and hoodies start at $135. Shorts are $100, and T-shirts are $75. These workout clothes are not cheap by any means.

I purchased the Pines Collection’s crew neck and hoodie. The quality is top-notch, but still felt expensive. I also have a couple of his hats from that same collection and love them.

While not everyone can afford this brand, it is brilliant for Sun Day Red to work with college players. NIL is at the forefront of college athletics right now, and for a new brand to get in on it only gets more eyes on them. They can get players in the clothing to showcase it and potentially cause outsiders to buy it because they like how it looks.

Of course, Stanford would be the first place to go because Woods went to school there, but it will be interesting to see if the brand branches outside that school. I would love to see them branch nationwide into all sports and maybe even outfit an entire golf team.

Plus, I will continue to preach that Sun Day Red needs women’s clothing to impact the golf fashion industry. Female athletics are rising, and it would be even more brilliant for them to enter that field.
