The surviving members of the Pogues have announced a 40th anniversary UK tour of their classic album Rum Sodomy & the Lash. Original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy will embark on the tour, with help from yet-to-be-announced guests, in their latest run of dates since the death, last year, of Shane MacGowan.
The shows kick off in Leeds, in May 2025, before taking in Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Newcastle upon Tyne. The band said in a statement, “After the uproarious bash which was the 40th anniversary of our first record, Red Roses for Me, in 2024, we wanted to do it again, but with Rum Sodomy & the Lash.”
