Amazon Prime is hyped for the start of the NFL regular season and they’re commemorating the occasion with a food-filled graphic that truthfully makes very little sense.
I like the concept here. Everyone gathers for a pot luck and brings something from their home city. The issue is that after you take the quickest of glances there are very few things that actually make sense. It’s like Where’s Waldo if you could find Waldo over, and over, and over again — but each team he was dressed like feces.
In total I spotted nine food faux-pas that desperately need correcting, so here we go starting top left and working our way around clockwise.
No. 1: Justin Herbert is eating a steak. At what point did we associate steak with Los Angeles?
No. 2: Patrick Surtain II brought a hamburger. I guess this is technically supposed to be a bison burger, but that’s hardly a Denver food.
No. 3: Bryce Young is making ribs, when Carolina bbq is always pulled pork.
No. 4: Matthew Stafford is also eating steak. The iconic Los Angeles food.
No. 5: Dak Prescott is not making brisket or eating steak for Dallas, but having a crawfish boil.
No. 6: Kyler Murray missed the assignment and is putting sriracha on boiled eggs.
No. 7: Myles Garrett has not eaten a waffle in his life.
No. 8: Anthony Richardson is ALSO making a steak, proving steak is the go-to item when you don’t know a pork tenderloin sandwich is your iconic Indiana food.
No. 9: Why is C.J. Stroud got a try of Icees, which were invented in Kansas?
This whole thing is just bad. There are 9 things wrong out of a possible 32 and we cannot forgive that.
