Taylor Swift loves an easter egg, especially in the form of a wardrobe staple. The singer rewore a black pleated miniskirt at the Kansas City Chiefs’ winning AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday after modeling it at the same event last year, indicating it could be her sartorial lucky charm.
Swift paired it with a monogrammed Louis Vuitton windbreaker and a ribbed logo beanie from the French fashion house, accessorizing with burgundy tights and one of their Trunk Chain Wallets. A pair of high-heeled lug sole boots and knit gloves, also by Vuitton, topped off her look.
The “Tortured Poets Department” artist wore her blond tresses straightened, while her makeup consisted of winged eyeliner and her signature red lip.
Kelce also made a fashion statement upon his arrival to the game, sporting a full Thom Browne look consisting of a suit, toque and tie lined with the designer’s trademark stripes.
Swift strutted into another Chiefs’ game earlier this month wearing a full Chanel ensemble from the label’s 2025 Cruise collection. She put a wintertime spin on the summery look, wearing a zip-up romper with a pearl belt underneath a tweed shirt jacket, adding on tights, gloves and knee-high boots.
Chanel is currently gearing up to show its fall 2025 collection in Paris. While the fashion house announced its new artistic director Matthieu Blazy last month, who was formerly creative director at Bottega Veneta, the designer’s first collection for Chanel will be shown in October. Blazy, who is succeeding Virginie Viard, will be responsible for all haute couture, ready-to-wear and accessories collections.
“We hope to be together for 10, 15 years or more. We’re just at the start of our story,” Bruno Pavlovsky, president of fashion and president of Chanel, told WWD in December. “Together we’ll be able to write a new chapter for the brand.”
