On Saturday, Sydney Sweeney graced the red carpet for the premiere of her forthcoming film “Christy” during the AFI Fest 2025, clad in a soft pink custom Miu Miu gown.
Styled by Molly Dickson, the “Euphoria” star, who is known to flock to the Italian fashion house for her red carpet looks, struck various poses for photographers at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theater in the voluminous gown. Made from a delicate floral lace fabric, her dress included a halter silhouette and a plunging neckline. The dress was cinched at the waist with a belt, while a voluminous skirt added drama. Sweeney accessorized with jewelry from Kallat, including a 14k rose gold sapphire ring and 14k white gold and rose quartz earrings.

The Hollywood darling seems partial to light pink, as she’s opted for the soft shade on numerous occasions, the most recent being the custom silk satin corset-style McQueen gown she wore at the London Film Festival premiere of “Christy.”
Meanwhile, Sweeney’s drastic hair transformation had beauty mavens buzzing. On Saturday, the A-lister debuted a new platinum blond bob, courtesy of hairstylist Glen Coco and colorist Jacob Schwartz, which is a departure from her signature long, wavy hair. “Sydney was looking for a change and wanted to have a big hair moment for the red carpet to support her new movie, Christy,” Schwartz told Vogue. “It felt like the perfect time to do something bold.” For makeup, Sweeney’s hot pink eyeliner perfectly complemented her pastel gown.

Hitting theaters November 7, Sweeney’s latest project, “Christy,” chronicles the life of female boxing champion Christy Martin, played by the actress, from her childhood in West Virginia to her rise to fame in the 1990s. The David Michôd-directed film also stars Ben Foster, Merritt Wever and Katy O Brian.
