Susan Lucci Blooms in Cinq a Sept Florals, Talks ‘My First Ex-Husband’

Susan Lucci suited up and brought a healthy dose of flower power to her look during her visit to SiriusXM on Monday in New York City. The longtime soap opera star and Daytime Emmy Award winner was out promoting her latest project, the off-Broadway show “My First Ex-Husband.”

For the occasion, Lucci wore a tailored suit courtesy of Cinq à Sept. The suit featured tailored black trousers and a coordinated, long-sleeve, single-breasted blazer. Beneath the blazer, Lucci wore a black shirt to coordinate with the base fabric of her look.

On the blazer of Lucci’s Cinq à Sept look was a cascading flower motif featuring various warm, springtime tones — a potential nod to the season that’s just around the corner. Small petal flowers featured in shades of green, blue, pink and more from one shoulder to the waist of the blazer in a diagonal pattern.

Near the hem of Lucci’s pants, the flower motif continued. The “All My Children” star also wore a pair of pointed toe heels with similar spots of color against a black base. As for her jewelry choices, Lucci kept it simple, favoring a pair of silver hoop earrings.

Before her visit to SiriusXM, Lucci appeared earlier in the day on “Good Morning America.” The actress wore the same suited look and chatted with “GMA” anchors about her role in the off-Broadway show, “My First Ex-Husband,” written by Joy Behar.

The show features a cast of veteran actresses, Lucci included, reciting monologues. Each monologue tells the true story of a woman’s marriage and its eventual deterioration. The show also introduces a new cast every four weeks.

Lucci stars in the current cycle of “My First Ex-Husband” along with Judy Gold, Cathy Moriarty, Tonya Pinkins, Talia Balsam, Jackie Hoffman, Veanne Cox and Andrea Navedo. The off-Broadway show opens in New York City’s MMAC Theater on Wednesday.
