Shop Ugg x Sacai Today
Every so often, a footwear collaboration comes around that truly honors the meaning of the phrase “best of both worlds” — capable, as it is, of leveraging what’s unique about each brand while creating something wholly original. Such is the case with Ugg and Sacai’s latest venture, which is the first time in over six years that the two powerhouses are putting their heads together on a shoe capsule. And if last time is any indication, you have mere hours to shop this drop before inventory fully sells out.
In 2025, we’re getting treated to three new styles: the Ugg x Sacai Thigh High Boot, Loafer, and Hiker. Whether you plan on scaling mountains this season or sitting pretty at sidewalk cafes, these silhouettes promise a fusion of the avant-garde and the high-performing.
Sacai, after all, is a Japanese brand that made its name with hybrid designs — taking an avant-garde approach to proportions, shapes, and materials. Its founder and creative director, Chitose Abe, put these same principles in service of making the co-branded footwear styles unlike anything else you might already have on your shoe rack.
The most innovative of the offerings is undoubtedly the Thigh High Boot, which harnesses the materials common to Ugg‘s bestsellers — soft suede and shearling — while pushing the boundaries when it comes to a traditional Ugg boot’s height. Make a statement in it you will, as the shoe can be worn either folded over, revealing its fuzzy lining, or fully upright. For those needing styling inspiration, look no further than Elsa Hosk’s appearance in the boot just yesterday (she matched it to high-waisted jeans and a boho-coded blouse with a deep V-cut).
Looking for something slightly more streamlined and traditional? There’s the Ugg x Sacai Loafer for the taking, whose chunky outsole, shearling-lined upper, and classic penny slot detail prove you can have fun in the height and fabric departments when it comes to shoes, without making them any less timeless in the context of prevailing industry trends.
Lastly, should you have leaf-peeping trips and hikes planned for the upcoming weeks, you’d be remiss not to grab the Ugg x Sacai Hiker. The profile of this shoe is one that feels inherently familiar, but childlike playfulness is also secured vis-à-vis the fluffy sheepskin that seems to overflow from its color-happy laces. If you’ve always wanted your go-to pair of Ugg Classic Short II boots to be compatible with your outdoorsy, adventurous side, this is finally the case thanks to the brand’s long-awaited second drop with Sacai.
The best part about this launch that’s bound to fly off shelves just as fast (if not faster) than its predecessor? Every last piece treats Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are” — yes, the children’s book! — as a muse, evoking the shagginess of its gentle giants with each detail.

“We wanted to take our friends to the wild side, and walk there together,” Sacai’s Abe told WWD previously, regarding her fall 2025 collection reveal at Paris Men’s Fashion Week this year.
Now, you can walk to the wild side while staying comfortable, cozy, and turning no shortage of heads in the process. And if Sacai’s fall runway is any indication, getting the most benefit out of your new loafer-slash-boot acquisitions means pairing them with exaggerated menswear coordinates, fur-trimmed outerwear, brightly hued pullovers, and, for an extra dose of sartorial fearlessness, ski glasses.
