The two-man game between Stephen Curry and Draymond Green is the stuff of legend. While the Golden State Warriors were never the heaviest pick-and-roll team in their dynasty era, Curry and Green had a special ability to play off of each other all over the floor. Their connection often felt telepathic as they sliced and diced the NBA’s best defenses for more than a decade.
Curry and Green are still at it this season with a new-look Warriors roster around them. Klay Thompson left for Dallas and many of the rotation spots have turned over, but Golden State believes it always has a chance with Curry and Green out there. On Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Warriors’ two veteran stars lined up for a pick-and-roll and somehow produced an all-time blooper out of it.
With Clippers wing Derrick Jones Jr. hounding the ball at the point of attack, Curry tried to make a quick move to the basket with Green setting the screen. Jones tried to lock and trail Curry from behind, but that only made Steph run head-first into Green’s crotch. Somehow, Curry retained the ball as Green looked down in pain. Watch the play here:
Hat-tip to NBA Reddit for noticing this one. This is the type of Shaqtin-A-Fool moment that would feel appropriate for the Washington Wizards, but not for Steph and Daymond.

Curry suffered two ankle sprains during the game, and couldn’t finish. The Clippers beat the Warriors, 112-104. LA looks a lot potent than I thought they would without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
