India’s First Drone Manufacturer Approved for Export to the U.S. and Europe
Avironix Drones has received the General Authorization for Export of Drones (GAED) approval from India’s Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) for its agricultural spraying drones. This approval allows the company to export its AviSpray16 Agricultural Spraying Drone to markets in the United States and Europe.
Expanding India’s Drone Industry Globally
The GAED approval marks a step forward for India’s drone sector, enabling manufacturers to expand into international markets. Avironix has invested in increasing its production capacity to meet global demand.

AviSpray16: Agricultural Spraying Drones for Precision Farming
The AviSpray16 is designed for precision spraying and operational efficiency. It features a compact, rugged framefor easy transport and advanced propulsion and electrical systems to optimize coverage per flight. The drone is also equipped with collision avoidance technology and high-precision terrain-following radar to enhance flight safety.
“Avironix drones are built by a team of 40 R&D engineers. These drones are built strong for longer life with a low form factor for easy transportation. The propulsion and electrical systems are designed to maximize acres sprayed per sortie, offering high coverage for customers. With the GAED approval, Avironix can now distribute its agricultural drones to farmers and agribusinesses in the U.S. and Europe, providing access to India-made drone technology for precision farming applications.
