Sportmax Pre-Fall 2026 Ready to Wear Collection Review

The Sportmax design team had women on the move and travel dressing top of mind for pre-fall 2026. With a pragmatic approach, it centered the collection on easy-to-pack pieces that could combine style and functionality, protection and comfort, as well as work across different time zones and adapt to unpredictable climates.

The tricky task was delivered with simplicity with a heightened focus on uncomplicated silhouettes, crafted from soft and lightweight fabrications but maintaining a sculptural appearance, which conveyed a sense of put-togetherness and had a refined appeal that could convince even the laziest travelers to ditch their worn-out hoodies and tracksuits.

Such globetrotters could choose from great double coats or blousons with detachable layers, to wear with soft zippered knits in tonal gray looks; hybrid jackets with removable collars in coated fabric, or candid padded alternatives in cocooning volumes, for example.

Those looking for some edge could opt for leather instead, picking cozy bomber jackets; collarless options cinched by tubular belts, and sleek vests that paired with matching barrel pants punctuated by snap buttons that could turn anyone into the rock stars of the airport.

Other solutions spanned from polar fleeces enriched with leather inserts to relaxed, bicolored suits that channeled a more formal vibe, while workwear fans could rely on a set cut from extra-light lyocell denim with a cool, liquid effect.

Any delay or unplanned layover? Nothing a drink in town and a mood-boosting outfit can’t fix, so make sure to pack the draped jersey minidresses or mint jersey top-and-skirt ensemble embellished with gold hardware, just in case. No wrinkles, no worries.
